Dear Reader,
To those of you who escaped for summer holidays, we here at The Eye hope you had wonderful time. For us at The Eye Uganda it has proven to be the busiest time ever.
An exciting project which should be circulating end of September is The Eye RWANDA. In terms of advertisers, the response from both countries Uganda and Rwanda has been tremendous so I would especially like to thank all those people who have put their faith and trust in us in supporting this new venture. STAY tuned for more The EYE………..
Due to increasing popularity of The Eye Uganda, we have again increased the print run from 11 000-12 000. You will also have noticed the growing thickness of The Eye: this is not only due to advertising support, but to extra listings as well. You will find the majority in Services, but also throughout the magazine; please help us to carry on this trend by emailing us: theeye@theprinthouse.co.ug.
To keep up with the demand for The Eye Uganda I would like to announce that as of December 05 The Eye Uganda will be BI-MONTHLY. Dec-Jan 06 will be the first issue. This will thereby offer more exposure for advertisers as instead of 4 print runs a year there will now be 6, on a print run of 10000.
To ADD to exposure another new development will be taking place by October 05 - The Eye Uganda will be going ELECTRONIC; The Eye Rwanda will follow shortly after.
The lead article this issue is done by a respected friend, Chris Kidd, who has held on to values while writing of the Batwa Pygmy tribe in SW Uganda. Mr. Farmer answers some FAQs with regards to vehicles and as usual Doc Shockley scorches us with his humor. It’s part 2 of our wine appreciation course and we unleash the beauty surrounding the Vocanoes' Virunga Lodge.
It is unfortunate that I have to stress once more about imitations around in the market, please, to all advertisers, do your research into the publication you are going to advertise in, i.e. print run, distribution etc…
Until next time…..
