June 4: Goethe-Zentrum Kampala/Ugandan Germany Cultural Society La Ba! Street Art Festival from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Mackinnon Road between Kafu Road and Sezibwa Road; Nakasero. Everyone is able to participate. Up to 70 visual artists will present their work and about 200 performance artists uplifting the event and involve the public by generating interactive events together with the visitors of the Festival. The theme of the festival will be: 365…days of celebrating Art

June 25: MishMash will start from 1pm until late and will feature live music, contemporary dance, photography competition winners, paintings, sculptures, fashion, crafts, great food & drink and everything MishMash. For more information, please log onto: www.mishmashuganda.com

Bayimba Regional Festival of the Arts; At Agip Motel in Mbarara Town from Mid-day till Mid-night.
Features live arts and cultural performances (both traditional and modern) from the Eastern Region of Uganda - alongside productions from the Bayimba Street theatre and the youth and Hip Hop project, Comedy, Poetry, Ugandan, African and International Films, the finest Visual arts exhibitions and Fashion shows. Entrance is Free.

July 30:
Bayimba Regional Festival of the Arts: At Mbale Sports club in Mbale Town, from Mid-day till Mid-night
Features live arts and cultural performances (both traditional and modern) from the Eastern Region of Uganda - alongside productions from the Bayimba Street theatre and the youth and Hip Hop project, Comedy, Poetry, Ugandan, African and International Films, the finest Visual arts exhibitions and Fashion shows. Entrance is Free.

EVERY MONTH
Every last Wednesday of the month:
Latin Flavor Night at National Theatre at 7pm. Fee: 5,000UGX Come experience a mix of various Latin dances at the National Theatre! Performers on stage are performing New York Salsa, Cuban Salsa, cha cha, merengue, samba, bachata, jive and rhumba. Be part of this event and you can have a taste of the different Latin dance
styles yourself!

Every 2nd and 4th Thursday: Live jazz by Fussion-Illusion from 7:30pm to 10:30pm at The Lawns
Every Second Thursday: Quiz Night at Bubbles O’Leary starts at 8pm. Teams of 6. Prizes each round

First Friday of every month: ARA (American Recreation Association) Music night in Makindye.

Social Latin Sunday at the National Theatre 6-10pm. FREE social evening of salsa, bachata, cha cha, merengue,

Every Wednesday night: Bubbles O’Leary has live music from 8pm till 12pm with the Baximba Waves Band
